Day 24

Day 23- Rub A Dub

Last night Kolby gave Bentley his first bath in his bath tub. [: Bentley was great for the first few minutes then he started wiggling around and crying. Today we are going to go to Whitefield so Kolby can play a game of basketball. Bentley is getting big.

Day 22- Back home

We got back home last night, Bentley slept pretty much the whole ride. He is so good in the car, its nice because I can get a little nap in too! Yesterday was such an awesome day, he got to meet Tiffany and Jamie, it was sooo nice to see them. What a great trip we had! Thanks to family and friends.

Day 21

Yesterday was the first time I went somewhere without Bentley! (It was only to the store, but still) It felt like such a huge step!! Today B gets to meet Jamie and Tiffany! (: I am really excited, I have not seen them in so long! I also have a hair appointment today, its going to be a great day. Bentley is going to be out and about alot today.

BENTLEY IS 3WEEKS OLD TODAY!!!

Day 20- In Maine

We made it to Maine at about 1:30-2ish in the morning. Meme (I don't know what he is going to call Kolbys mom) was soo excited to have him there, I actually think she stayed awake with him all morning. lol. It was really nice to get a little sleep and feel comfortable knowing he will be just fine, and not having to worry about him.

Day 19- Late night ride

Bentley had his doctors appointment today, he weghs 10lbs 8oz and 21 1/2in long. Tonight when Kolby gets out of work at 10p we are going to take a ride to Maine, so he can spend sometime with grampy, grammy, and uncle ty. He hasnt met uncle ty yet so that will be nice.

Day 18

Bentley slept for 4 hours last night! :)

Day 17- Out and about

Bentley went to the park today! He slept pretty much the whole time while Kolby played basketball. We went and had dinner over my Aunt Sarah's house, Bentley was really good. He stayed awhile for while and did not cry or anything. (He isn't big on crying anyway.) It felt really nice to get out of the house and enjoy the nice weather.

Day 16- Spending time with Nonna

The car ride went well, I gave Bentley a bottle of milk as we were leaving, he slept the whole ride. Today Bentley got to spend some time with his nonna (my mom, italian for grandma) before she left for Florida for 3weeks.

Day 15- Road Trip

Tonight we are going to be taking Bentley on his first long car ride, (going to Manchester to pick up my mom from the airport - about an hour and 45mins.) I really hope he sleeps through the whole trip and that it does not make his really moody when we get back.

Baylie and Naomi came over again today, I got some really cute pictures of Baylie and Bentley.

Day 14- TWO WEEKS OLD!

Bentley is two weeks old today! Wow, I cant believe how fast it went, even with very little sleep. So within the first two weeks, both Kolby and I have been puked on, peed on, and got poo on us! Ha. The joys of parenthood.

Day 13- Just another day

Today I have looked over and over at all Bentley's pictures, I need to make his birth announcements, I have no clue on what pictures to use! Nothing extravagant happened, B is still being very fussy during the day. I think he is going through a 'growth spurt' because he hasn't really slept longer than 40minutes, and he want to constantly be nursed. But I did take the cutest little picture of B's feet. [:

Day 12- Chunky Monkey

Today we had an appointment where Bentley got weighed, he is now 9lbs 13oz!!! He is in the 83 percentile for his age and sex. I am getting the hang of waking up and sleeping when he does, it is still a little difficult being awake pretty much all night. But like they say, this too shall pass, and only another month or so and he should have some type of routine, good news is Bentley sleeps in his bassinet when he does sleep. Naomi came to visit us today and Bentley got to meet Baylie for the first time. (:

Day 11- Bye bye umbilical cord

Last night a little after 10pm Bentleys umbilical cord fell off! =) It was another long night though, I think Bentley has his nights and days mixed up. Tonight we are going to try something a little different, Kolby is going to feed him a bottle, to see if we can get him to sleep a little longer through the night. I am crossing my fingers, I sure could use a little sleep!

Day 10- It was a long night

Last night was pretty tough. Bentley was comfort nursing, every time I put him down he would cry and he would shake his head like he was looking for some food. I did not get any sleep until 10am, which is when I got to take about an hour nap while Kolby rocked and held him. It's times like last night that make me wish I formula fed him because he is just so dependent on me. Even with no sleep, I wouldnt change him for the world.

**I love how he is sleeping in pretty much every picture so far** :)

Day 9- First trip to the store

Last night Bentley slept for 2 1/2 -3 hours at a time. It felt good to get a little sleep! Kolby & I took him to Wal-Mart today [: His first trip to a store, he stayed awake the whole time so he is being a little cranky now. Nothing we cant handle.

Day 8- Caching up on missed days

I thought of doing this a little late, so we are starting at Day 8. I will post a few different pictures from day 1-day 8 right now.
